The Chairman of Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) Abubakar Waziri has been attacked by one Adam Nana who happens to be the Chairman of Progressive Transport Owners’ Association (PROTOA) at Mallam Junction in Accra.
According to the victim, Adam Nana has been posing as the overlord of the area for some time, claiming ownership of the entire space at Mallam station.
“Adam Nana’s misbehavior has been wreaking havoc at the station. To be honest, his frequent and violent attacks have turned the station into a living hell. Could you imagine he slapped me and smashed my saloon car without any provocation?
Even though the even case was reported to Odorkor Police Station, and notwithstanding his persistent attacks, the Commander did not address the issue fairly.
“I’m pleading with the police to look into the case properly; I’m not saying they should side with me, but they should be firm and fair in order for peace to prevail,” he lamented.
