Ghanaian actress cum entrepreneur, Fella Precious Makafui has gone on a Twitter spree and cries out following an E-Levy deduction on her money transfer.
The excruciating Electronic Levy, nicknamed E-Levy commenced last Sunday, May 1, 2022.
There has been a public outcry since the inception following how the charges appear antithetical to the initial statement by the government.
The government made it known that the E-Levy was going to affect transactions ranging from 100 cedis and above, but from what most Ghanaians have experienced so far, it’s affecting amounts even below 100 cedis.
