Die hard supporters of Ghana Premier League club, Real Tamale United has done the unthinkable as they seize the training equipment during one of the team’s training sessions.
On Monday, March 7, 2022, the angry fans stormed the training grounds in numbers to seize all training equipment of the club over poor players’ performances.
According to the fans the coach’s selection for their recent match games are the reason for the team’s poor performances.
The Pride of The North have failed to register a single win in their last six premier league games, lying 15th on the league table with 21 points from 19 games.
Only one point separates them from the relegation zone.
The fans believe if they don’t take action against the technical team and the playing body, the team’s poor performance can lead them back to relegation.
Real Tamale United only qualified back to the Ghana Premier League last season after about a decade in Division One League.
Fans of the biggest team in Northern Ghana are living with fear of getting relegated if they continue with the abysmal performance.
