The Bono Regional New Patriotic Party Regional Chairman Kwame Baffoe alias Abronye has been granted bail in the sum of GHc100, 000 with two sureties.
This was after he pleaded not guilty to two charges of Publication of false news to cause fear and alarm and offensive conduct Conducive to the breaches of the peace.
EIB Network’s Court Correspondent Murtala Inusah reports that, the two sureties are to deposit their passports and valid ID to the registrar of the court.
The prosecution the court said are to file disclosures and witness statements within two weeks.
The court presided over by Her Honour Adelaide Abui Keddy has adjourned the case to March 9, 2022 for Case Management Conference.
