Ghanaian actress and movie producer Yvonne Nelson has finally spoken about the verbal attacks of Shatta Wale about Jackie Appiah.
It would be recalled that dancehall artist Shatta Wale descended on actress Jackie Appiah a few days ago. Shatta Wale shared a video on his Instagram page lambasting the actress and questioning the source of her money.
Shatta Wale also degraded Jackie Appiah saying that she does not deserve to be called a celebrity because she is not a good example to the young girls who look up to her. Shatt Wale also claimed that Jackie Appiah fuels her extravagant lifestyle by sleeping with men.
Speaking in an interview on an Accra-based Kingdom FM, Yvonne Nelson stated that although Jackie Appia isn’t her friend because she came to meet her already in the industry, she finds the allegations from Shatta Wale as disturbing and condemned the act of the artist.
“We are not friends who will call each other or hang out but Jackie is a celebrity and so far as the work is concerned, she is a very wonderful lady”, Yvonne said.
