According to Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei-Mensah, the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) criticism is a plan to prevent the government from growing the country.
He underlined that the E-Levy will never cause hardship to Ghanaians.
“The e-levy would not cure all Ghana problems,” he remarked on Wontumi TV’s The Privilege Morning Show. “But it will assist lower the burden on Ghanaians.”
Simon Osei-Mensah raged that the NDC is more concerned with their own interests than with Ghanaians.
The Ashanti Regional Minister claimed that the NDC should accept the E-levy if they believe it will cause the NPP to lose power in 2024.
