Pastor Timothy Oluwatimilehin, the pastor in charge of Spirit-filled International Christian Church, Abeokuta, Ogun State, has been detained by agents of the Ogun State Police Command for persuading a housewife and her two daughters to abandon their home and live with him at his private residence.
According to the Punch Newspaper, the pastor was detained after a complaint was lodged by the woman’s husband, who went to a neighboring hospital and stated that the pastor had taken his wife and her two girls away. Before apprehending the Pastor, the police requested the assistance of the Ogun State Ministry of Women Affairs (OMWA).
Pastor Oluwatimilehin confessed to his crime, revealing that he began sleeping with the woman after she had a disagreement with her husband, which facilitated him in attracting her to his home in the first place. He, on the other hand, pleaded with the spouse to consider his predicament and forgive him.
“In his confession, the pastor acknowledged that he had committed the act, but he asked for forgiveness. The diabolical crime was carried out, according to the confessor, because of a little misunderstanding between the woman and her husband, which he took advantage of.” According to a police spokeswoman.
