The Adenta Circuit Court, presided over by Mrs Sedinam Awo Balokah, has issued a Bench warrant for the immediate arrest of Nana Appiah Mensah a.k.a Nam1, the CEO of the now-defunct Menzgold.
Gabriel Kwamigah and Eric Amponsah Bediako have been charged with conspiring to defraud and defrauding a total of $210,000,000.
After giving Nana Appiah Mensah and the other accused persons two days to appear and face the charges leveled against them, the circuit court ordered their detention on Tuesday.
However, their lawyer told the court that they had not been served and that his client had just gotten a phone call from the court advising him of the court summons, which enraged the Judge, who demanded the supposed staff number, Nam1.
