Newly Installed Crash Barriers On Pokuase Interchange Burgled Stolen

Unscrupulous individuals have stolen several of the freshly erected galvanised crash barriers put at the Pokuase Interchange, posing a threat to road users only three months after the interchange’s inauguration.

The $3,500 crash barriers, which were designed to keep automobiles from toppling over from a high embarkation into the main road for vehicles arriving from Kwabenya, were stolen over a 40-meter stretch.

A total of ten crash barriers, each measuring four feet, have been stolen.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, 40 streetlights along the route have been destroyed, including those at the interchange.
