The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic (NPP) Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has replied Mr. John Mahama for suggesting that people have die if he doesn’t win the 2024 elections.
He has forewarned Mahama to prepare “to die at Bole Bamboi polling station” if he is planning to face the 2024 elections with “do or die” mentality.
The NPP Chairman in an interview stated that he finds it distasteful for the former President to suggest that the 2024 elections would be a “do or die” affair.
According to Chairman Wontumi, if 2024 is going to be a do or die affair, then Mr. Mahama should prepare to die first at the polling station, he casts his vote at Bole Bamboi.
“This is needless and foolish to say. How can you prepare your mind for death. Why is he wishing death on innocent Ghanaians just because of political power. Ghanaians have to rise and condemn him, he is talking like he hasn’t received proper training from home”, Chairman Wontumi said.
The 2020 flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has revealed that he wants to enter the 2024 contest in “do or die” mode.
His distasteful comment on Akina radio noting that he has learnt lesson in 2020 and realized that elections are won at the polling station.
To add to winning elections at the polling stations, he stated that he will lead the NDC to turn the 2024 into do or die affair.
