The young victim, named Ataa, is unconscious and “in very critical condition” at hospital, according to her aunt who has set up to cover hospital bills.
The 19 year old girl was left in a coma after shes was allegedly placing GHc1000 bet on Kotoko yesterday to increase her money but ends up in vain.
She suffered swelling to her brain, according to her aunt. She also shared a heartbreaking photo of her niece in a hospital bed and said the fundraiser was to cover hospital bills.
This came after Prophet Nigel Gaisie predicted a win for Kotoko and for her thinking of using that opportunity to increase her earning by taking a step which she stake GHc1000 bet on them.
According information or reports, yesterday was her first time into betting after a friend introduced and educated her about betting. The said friend then shown her the prediction Prophet Nigel Gaisie made and she agreed to join the winning team by taking her own risk to bet GHc1000 on Kotoko.
