A Sprinter Bus with registration number GR 6117-20 is reported to have been involved in an accident on the Accra-Tema motorway.
According to an eyewitness, the accident occurred at about 6:30 am this morning after the tyre of the bus road burst around the weighing bridge, somersaulting in the process.
It is further reported that the driver of the Sprinter Bus failed to heed the complaints of the passengers of over speeding.
A total of 5 people are feared dead with another 15 people sustaining various degrees of injuries.
Police and National Ambulance Service are currently on site.
