Atletico forward Moussa Dembele collapsed during a session at the club’s Majadahonda training complex.
Moussa Dembele fainted in the middle of training during Diego Simeone’s session with players that weren’t called up by their national sides.
Dembele was quickly attended to by his fellow teammates and then the club’s medical staff.
The incident occurred during the opening quarter of an hour of the training session, as reported by AS.
Atletico Madrid released a short statement afterwards, saying: “Moussa Dembélé suffered a drop in blood pressure and retired from the training session. The player is now subject to observation and his evolution will be closely monitored.”
