On 9/4/19 The Takoradi Circuit Court chaired by her Lordship Mrs Abena Adjei Duku sentenced Adu Emmanual aged 26years to 3 years imprisonment with Hard labour,The driver was charged with the offence of dangerous driving and negligently causing harm.
On 22/4/18 at about 7pm he was in charge sprinter bus with Reg.no GT 5707-17 driving from Takoradi to Accra.
In a curve at Assokor Assaman he over took 5 vehicles in succession and crashed with an oncoming Hyundai H100 with reg.no WR 2315-15 driven by Derrick Wilbeck leading to the death of Cecelia Asabil aged 60 years who was on board the vehicle and also injured 14 other passengers. Convict has been sent to Sekondi Central Prisons to begin his sentence.
