Am Sorry- NPP Journalist Begs Ghanaians

Journalist with Oman FM, a Pro government fm station, Gordon Asare-Bediako has apologized for sounding rude to Ghanaians in a facebook post.

The co-host of Oman Fm’s political talk show, “Boiling Point” asked Ghanaians who have issues with governments new taxes, especially on utilities, whether they expect president Akufo-Addo to sell his possessions to offset the accrued covid-19 relief debt.

“So did people really think President Akufo-Addo was going to sell the durable cooking utensils or the kaba and slit and duku(head gear) of Mama Rebecca to offset the cost of the freebies?” he quizzed.

The utterance did not go down well with some Ghanaians. Many especially on social media accused the journalist of being arrogant, others also accused him of being insensitive to the plight of Ghanaians who voted for President Akufo-Addo.

Well, the latest to this news is that, Mr Asare-Bediako has apologized for his offensive comment.
