Barely 40-hours left for the swearing-in of Ghana’s President-elect, the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) says they have picked up information that shows thugs of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will burn markets and institutions.
This highly sensitive disclosure was made by the Ashanti Regional Director of NADMO, Mr. Kwabena Nsenkyere in an interview with Kumasi-based Fox FM. ‘Our intelligence is gathering on the day of swearing-in, NDC vigilantes are going to attack markets and burn many institutions in the region for obvious reasons,’ he quoted as saying.
Meanwhile, a total number of 13 presidents of various African nations have confirmed that they will be attending the swearing-in ceremony of President Akufo-Addo and Vice-President Bawumia on Thursday, January 7, 2021.
