As at press time, the police have not officially divulged the reason for his arrest but the answer to this is very obvious. Following Obinim’s feud with the maverick lawmaker, Kennedy Agyapong which led to the unravelling of all his dirty secrets, it’s clear the police thought they have had enough evidence or reason to finally nail him.
So apparently, his arrest has to do with all the allegations Kennedy Agyapong levelled against him in the various exposé on Net 2 TV.
Recall that Kennedy accused him with the following offences which he backed with pieces of evidence:
1. MONEY LAUNDERING.
2. STEALING GOLD BARS FROM HIS CHURCH MEMBERS.
3. FLOGGING AND MANHANDLING A TEENAGER IN HIS CHURCH IN THE NAME OF DELIVERANCE.
4. KILLING BABIES FOR RITUALS.
5. SLEEPING INDISCRIMINATELY WITH CHURCH MEMBERS
