‘I am utterly surprised by the barrage of attacks against Member of Parliament Zanetor Rawlings. I think when people who offer themselves to serve make observations, all we need to do is look into those observations and correct them if they are wrong rather than heap attacks on them.
Zanetor is a very intelligent and level-headed person and I believe she has a great future in Ghana’s politics.
The restraint I am calling for is from a non-politician and it is no different from the one I called for when Deputy Majority Leader Adwoa Sarfo Kantanka came under attack a few years ago.
When strong women defy the odds of a testosterone-filled society to serve their people, let’s learn to encourage them rather than dampen their spirits.’
