Reports reaching us state that Lagos as recorded a second death as a result of Coronavirus, making the total number of death to be five.
This was revealed by the Lagos Commissioner of Health, Professor Akin Abayomi on Twitter.
In his post, he wrote;
“*️⃣We lost a #COVID19 patient ; a 36 year old NigerianFlag of Nigeria, male who died in a private facility on 4th April, 2020. Total number of #COVID19 patients who have died are now 2
*️⃣One case was evacuated bringing total evacuated to 2

Additionally, he also revealed that six new cases have been recorded taking the total number of cases to 224 with the number of cases in Lagos alone being 115
