The minister of Information, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has revealed that at least 10,000 free hand sanitizers has been distributed to the public.
Hon. Kojo Nkrumah revealed this during a press briefing on Covid-19 on Tuesday March 2020.He added that the government has also provided 10,000 PPEs to health workers to help them work efficiently.
Ghana has currently recorded 52 cases of Covid-19 and even though a section of the public are calling for a lockdown, the minister of information stated that lockdown will only be considered under extreme circumstances.
