The President of the Republic. H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Thursaday led a breakfast prayer meeting with some key leaders of the Christian community at the Jubilee House to pray against the spread of novel coronavirus.
The church leaders took turns to pray for the President, government, health workers, those who have been infected and also for the world to find an antidote to it among other things.
In an interview with Ahotor Fm, Foster Asante who is an official of the opposition said that the Breakfast prayer was an idea of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
On Thursday morning, the country confirmed its ninth case of the novel coronavirus which triggered the breakfast meeting.
