Ghanaian Dancehall artiste and visual artist, Epixode has told Ghbase in an exclusive interview that the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) means so much to him so if people like Shatta Wale making a mockery out if because he has been banned, it hurts him.
The ‘Avatar’ hitmaker was clarifying an earlier interview he granted where he stated that Shatta Wale’s expulsion-sort of- from the VGMAs together with Stinebwoy is a blessing in disguise to him.
The above statement angered Shatta Wale who fired him by saying he’s mentally unstable for making such a comment.
In a rebuttal, while speaking to GhBase, Epixode maintained that award schemes go a long way to solidify an artist’s legacy so he really wants to win to make his brand strong.
