SEE: How Much Money Musician Tom D’Frick Said He Lost In The Recent Break Down in MTN Internet Connectivity

Volta Region Music based singer, Tom D’Frick says the recent break down in internet connectivity from communication giants MTN has made him lose a whopping $300,000.

In a circular sent to shareholders and other stakeholders on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE), the MTN explained that the hitches were caused by “double undersea fibre optic cable cut in Europe.”

It explained that the cut on the West Africa Cable System (WACS) had also affected other operators and customers in West Africa but assured that it was working to resolve the situation.

Tom D’Frick in an interview with CTV noted that MTN Ghana should compensate him for making him lose such an amount because of their poor service which began on Thursday Jan. 16 and ended almost 72hrs later.

He admitted that MTN Ghana has over the years been a market a leader in the telecommunication industry but their recent lapses has Ghanaians a great deal of inconvenience.
