Veteran Actress Grace Omaboe popularly called Maame Dokono is begging for prayers from Ghanaians especially her fans for her full recovery.
The actress who was been missing in movie scenes for a while now as a result of ill health, attempted reviving her career a couple years ago by featuring in one of award-winning movie director, Leila Djansi’s movies.
She has however gone quiet until she disclosed on Accra-based Hits FM that she is sick and requires prayers from all those concerned about her speedy recovery.
Maame Dokono as affectionately called, shot into the limelight for telling stories in ‘By the Fireside’ and her roles in ‘Obra’, which were most of watch programmes on the state-owned Ghana Television (GTV).
She attempted politics but dealt with a devastating defeat and has since kept a low profile until news went viral after an interview with Anika Erskine on GHOne she is battling with some unknown sickness.
