Ghanaian actor and politician John Dumelo has disclosed that getting into politics is not one’s own will but it’s a calling.
According to the celebrated actor, getting to politics is a ‘National Calling’.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz Show, John Dumelo disclosed that when one desires to serve the nation, he/she should go for it.
“I will say politics is a calling. It is a national calling. So at a point in time when you feel the desire to serve the nation, you will definitely go. I have spoken to a few of my colleagues in the creative arts industry and they’ve said they would like to get into politics but it has to be at the right time. You will get that right time when the time comes. and so it’s just for everybody to wait for the call.” John Dumelo said
John Dumelo in August defeated his contender Madam Adobe to become NDC’s parliamentary candidate in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Consistency.
