No worker in Ghana is happy with his salary except politicians – DKB

Renowned comedian, Derrick Kobina Bonney, known professionally as DKBin a new post, has said that apart from politicians, no other worker is happy with their salary.

His comment comes after the outrageous hikes in taxes which were announced recently by the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission as well as the increase in the Communication Service Tax.

Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, announced the increment in parliament on Monday, 29 July 2019 when he presented the mid-year budget review statement.

Mr Ofori-Atta told the lawmakers that: “The Communication Service Tax (CST) was introduced in 2008 at an ad valorem rate of six per cent. The tax is levied on charges payable by consumers for the use of communication services.

According to the frustrated comedian; ”No Ghanaian is happy with their salary except our politicians”.
