South Africa Democratic Alliance has been named as the most responsible political party in Africa, followed closely by Ghana’s New Patriotic party NPP. This was made public few hours ago by ‘’’Fact Find Forum, a reputable Australian think Tank.
Ghana’s National Democratic Congress, NDC took the 290th position conquering only ten political parties considered in this research
According to Fact Find Forum (FFF), Political parties perform an important task in government. They bring people together to achieve control of the government, develop policies favourable to their interests or the groups that support them as well as National interest and organize and persuade voters to elect their candidates to office among other responsibilities, which was the basis for this ranking.
In addition the ranking was based on the ability of political parties when in opposition to put government on its toes responsibly to deliver and also acts responsibly when in government.
