15  Contested NPP Primaries In E/R

FIFTEEN Parliamentary aspirants have been vetted and cleared in the six Orphan constituencies of the Eastern Region to contest the upcoming Parliamentary Primaries of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The orphan constituencies are: Yilo Krobo, Lower Manya Krobo, Asuogyaman, Upper West Akyem, Afram Plains North and Afram Plains South respectively.

Samuel Nuertey Ayertey, the Deputy Regional Minister and Madam Linda Adadevoh have been cleared to contest in the Lower Manya Contituency.

In the Asuogyaman Constitutency, Paul Asare Ansah, the former Managing Director for Ghana Ports and Harbour Authority, and Kwame Adu Darkwa, former Parliamentary Candidate are contesting.

The Deputy Regional NADMO Director, Eric Tetteh and Francis D. Appertey are also contesting the Yilo Krobo Constiuency ticket.

Eugene Sackey, the District Chief Executive Of Upper West Akyem, together with Daniel Yeboah Nortey, a photojournalist for TV3, Frederick Adom Obeng and Maxwell Tenkorang are contesting.

In the Afram Plains South, William Hor, the Managing Director for Ghana First Loans and Jacob Zineyele filed to contest.

The rest are Nana Ofori Koree and Anim Asiama who have also picked and filed to contest the Afram Plains North Parliamentary seat respectively.
